The Colorado Rapids head into the 2011 season as the defending MLS Cup champions. The club's roster has not had significant changes from last season and the Rapids are poised for another run deep into the MLS Cup Playoffs. Midfielder Jeff Larentowicz, for one, believes that the club overachieved last season. In an article on the club's Web site, he stated, “I don’t think going into it we expected to get where we did. Our goal all year was simply to get into the playoffs.”
